The Metropolis Of Minneapolis Is A Wonderful Wedding Destination

Minneapolis Minnesota wedding

Welcome to the metropolis of Minneapolis, where your wedding guests will find exciting adventures of the art, food, culture, outdoors and shopping kind. It is easy to keep everyone happy in this happening city that has all the conveniences you could hope for.

For a bustling city, Minneapolis offers a lot of green space and park areas. There are over 150 parks with miles of walkways, hiking trails and bike paths to explore. Of course, the lakes are a major natural feature, and they are all framed by gardens, golf courses, and scenic surroundings. Minneapolis is a beautiful place that is so photo and videogenic.

Be sure to tell your friends and family about the Minneapolis Institute of Art, which has an impressive collection including Monet paintings. It should please everyone since it is one of the largest art museums in the United States. The actual building is quite the beauty too. For contemporary creations, the Walker Art Center is worth a visit.

The Mall of America is the ideal place for your guests to shop for your wedding gift. It currently holds the title for being the seventh-largest shopping mall in the world. You couldn't even see it all in a day, and it even has an amusement park with rides and entertainment making it the ultimate place to get lost on a hot or rainy day.

What is a destination wedding without food and drink? There are feasts and celebrations to enjoy before the big day (and afterward before you all say goodbye). Minneapolis has so many excellent dining and drinking establishments for welcome dinner and drinks, stag and hen parties, social meet-ups and impromptu drinkies.

Eat Street Social has the best burgers in town, and you can sit on the patio listening to live music with your tribe. Bull's Horn Food and Drink is so much fun with vintage interiors and free-flowing beer. This rustic place has been a bar since 1935, so there are stories to be heard, and you can add some new ones!

You can easily find rooms at reasonable prices in Minneapolis. Below are some accommodation options that your guests might like to consider.

  • Millennium Minneapolis

  • Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District

  • 300 Clifton

  • The Chambers Hotel

  • Ramada by Wyndham Minneapolis Golden Valley

If you can spare a few hours, the City of Lakes is a great place for wedding videography that we could capture before or after the wedding day. Some romantic footage in the parks or around the lakes would add a new dimension to your wedding video. Maybe a trash the dress session would be fun after the wedding day. I'm open to your ideas to make the most of the lovely surroundings of Minneapolis.

Send me a message to discuss your wedding videography coverage. I would love to be the wedding videographer chosen to capture your beautiful wedding day.
