Des Moines For Your Wedding Day

wedding

The modern metropolis of Des Moines in Iowa is a great place for a wedding. The city is beautiful with many interesting sites, attractions and landmarks. Everything you love about urban life is here, including shopping, entertainment and nightlife. The wedding venues are awesome too. A collection of my favorite places to shoot wedding videos is below, and hopefully, it will help you find your dream wedding venue.

The rustic surroundings of this wedding venue make it popular with couples who love all things retro and vintage. A fun place to tie the knot and celebrate your love story, Decades Event Center has flexible wedding ceremony and reception packages. Plus you can rent an array of decorations available for rental, including old suitcases, candles, wine barrels, signage and archways.

As charming as the name sounds, this historic wedding venue in downtown Des Moines is simply gorgeous. The Tea Room features floor-to-ceiling windows and sophisticated decor, which looks great in wedding photos and video. The bride can get ready in the Rose Room with her bridal party before walking down the most pretty aisle imaginable. The balconies overlooking the city are an essential spot for couple videography after the ceremony.

You will be treated like royalty at the Hilton, where they plan stylish and classy weddings with a lot of attention to detail. No two weddings look the same. Just share your wedding day vision with the team and they will make it happen. Or, if you have elaborate plans, you might hire an external wedding planner. The rooms at the Hilton in Des Moines are decorated in a fresh contemporary style with a dedicated luxury suite for the newlyweds on the wedding night.

Marriott always executes weddings and events perfectly. For a stress-free wedding with absolutely amazing service, you can't look past Des Moines Downtown Marriott. You can style your wedding exactly how you like at the Marriott and if you are having your ceremony in a garden or church, the Marriott ballroom makes a wonderful reception venue. Having everyone staying at the wedding venue means you can easily mingle, celebrate and catch up with everyone before and after the wedding day.

If you love history and elegance, this wedding venue has three spaces for your ceremony and reception. The Tapestry Lounge, Grand Banquet Room and Auditorium are all quite striking backdrops, and if you are having a large wedding, they can cater for hundreds. The website is not the best, so an in-person inspection of this wedding venue is highly recommended.

Any of these wedding venues in Des Moines in Iowa make a lovely place to tie the knot. If any stand out to you, please drop me a line in case I have wedding video highlights to share with you. I'll send my packages for wedding cinematography at the same time.
