The parks, lakes, bright city lights and vibrant cultural scene of Minneapolis all adds up to the most fabulous place for a wedding. If you are getting married in Minneapolis, you are off to a great start because this city in the state of Minnesota is amazing.
You are spoiled for choice when it comes to wedding venues, so take your time to find the right one. Once you've found your dream wedding venue in Minneapolis, you can set a date and get the wedding planning ball rolling!
Here are some of my top picks for Minneapolis wedding venues. I've created beautiful wedding videos at some of these venues and others I hope to work at soon.
For couples searching for a historic venue that is full of charm and character, look no further. Think exposed brick walls with industrial vibes on the Mississippi Riverside and the city of Minneapolis in the background. With large spaces, you can style the wedding to suit your taste and the number of guests. It is perfect for a micro wedding or a big wedding bash.
Who doesn't adore a wedding at a winery? Set in the heart of St. Louis Park, the Warehouse Winery is a stunning venue with organic, rustic vibes. The setting is artistically designed with a dash of eclectic flair. This unique setting makes wedding videographers like me get super hyped to go to work. There are so many amazing locations at this venue for couples and family footage before and after the wedding ceremony.
We love a wedding venue with lots of glitz and the wow factor and A'Bulae doesn't disappoint. The space includes floor-to-ceiling windows that give plenty of natural light or glowing views of the city after the sun goes down. There are Italian design elements with a modern theme that offers the perfect amount of drama for a wedding celebration. This SoHo loft-style venue is quite special.
The club offers a picturesque garden setting that is as intimate as it is pretty. The interiors are grand and historic, making it a charming place to tie the knot. The building dates back to the mid-1800s and has been tastefully restored. The American Association of University Women has owned it since 1949 and part of the proceeds from each event goes to the non-profit group to support their charity work.
If you are dreaming of a rustic wedding, nothing could be more rustic than getting married in front of a large brick fireplace with a moose head looking down on your guests. Whitefish Lodge is not far from scenic lakes and the Crosswoods Golf Course. With over 50 cabin-themed rooms, everyone can stay at the lodge for days of celebrations, with the highlight being the ceremony which can be indoors or outdoors.
You would probably be happy at any of these Minneapolis wedding venues and it must be a hard decision to make. Please drop me a line if any of these wedding venues made your heart skip a beat. I might have some wedding video highlights to share with you. I'll email my packages for wedding cinematography along with any venue info or footage.
